Trufaves is a social app that allows you to save all your favourites things in one place and share recommendations between a small circle of trusted friends.


TruFaves removes the external influence of potential fake reviews and unwanted sponsored ads with a goal of sharing real recommendations with people you actual know and interact with. Whether you share your favourite restaurants, beauty products, books or holiday destinations it will be with a close circle of users you’ve selected.

Create a Fave or just Ask

The key flows of the app are the ‘create a new fave’ and ‘ask for a fave’ functions. These require the most amount of input from the user, guiding then through a stepped process of content creation. This action takes up full prominence within the main navigation and aims to add interest throughout the form.

The brand needed to be sophisticated but approachable, I worked this into the UI using the primary colour palette, elegant typefaces and fun, inspiring imagery. Each flow was carefully considered to maximise the creation and shareability of favourites between friends.
